Drums

Dan has been drumming since the age of 13, which as the band says was "long, long ago in a galaxy..."; well, you know how it goes. Dan joined his first band in Grade Ten playing three-chord heavy metal standards. Dan worked with the band until graduation when he left to attend Humber College's music program (which is known for making even the most talented musicians cry). Jazz, Funk, and other influences began to temper his one-dimensional hard rock, drum solo style. Barsi is quick to point out his biggest influence on the drums as being Stewart Copeland of The Police. Dan dabbled in various other music styles such as rap, punk, surf, and ska with his former band Adam's Curse. These styles can be checked out on the bands self - titled CD "Adams Curse," but, of course, we suggest Red Light for your listening pleasure!!!  Since joining Red Light, Dan has provided a consistent, tight drumming style that accents the band's unique sound by incorporating styles accumulated throughout his musical background.
