Eric has been composing music since the age of 13 and by the age of 15 had captured the interest of many independent record labels. Eric's writing styles are widely varied due to his love for old folk music and current rock. Growing up, Eric listened to many artists like Gordon Lightfoot who is known for having strong lyrical content and an ability to get a point across within a song. Along with Lightfoot, Eric also listened to bands known for pioneering certain music styles such as The Cure. Mixing the folk lyrical writing style with an edgy acoustic rock sound is where the band really sets itself apart from the rest of the market.
